Committee formed to probe Karachi timber market blaze

KARACHI: The provincial government of Sindh has constituted a two-member committee to probe blaze at Karachi’s timber market that reduced goods worth millions of rupees to ashes, ARY News reported on Sunday.

Talking to media in Karachi, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon informed that a committee comprising Commssioner Karachi Shoaib Siddiqui and administrator Karachi had been formed.

He said the committee would immediately calculate the losses inflicted by the blaze.

He assured that the provincial government would compensate for the losses at its maximum.
