More containers sought to seal red zone ahead of Nov 30

ISLAMABAD: In an apparent move to cope with the pressure mounted by the PTI regarding its rally in Islamabad on Nov 30, the federal government has geared up to limit PTI show by placing more containers in the capital for security purpose, ARY News reported Monday.

PTI chief Imran Khan had already announced to hold his rally in Islamabad red zone at D-Chowk on Nov 30, come what may.

On the other hand, the government seemed to have tightened its muscles and said it won’t allow any breach of security in red zone this time.

In this connection, more containers have been placed near National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) at Serena Chowk to block ways leading to the D-Chowk. Besides, heavy contingent of police is also being deployed in the red zone to cope with any untoward incident.
