Convicts in Kasur child abuse case handed life sentence by ATC

LAHORE: Anti-Terrorism Court on Monday handed life sentence to two convicts in the Kasur child abuse case and imposed fine of Rs. 0.3 million, ARY News reported.

According to details, the verdict against the two convicts named Haseem Amir and Faizan Majeed was announced by ATC Judge Chaudhry Ilyas.

Pakistan’s largest ever child abuse scandal came to light in Punjab’s town of Kasur when more than 400 videos featuring 280 children forced to have sex, were discovered.

Ganda Singh Wala Police had registered the case and several charges, which included blackmailing, sodomy and child abuse, were filed against the convicts.
