On this occasion, the police told the court that some 50 people are responsible for the event which included PAT official, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, PAT workers and duty policemen.
Officials further stated that seven officials of the Awami Tehreek and several workers did not assist in investigations of the event, despite summoned repeatedly.
After the submission of challan, a formal trial of the tragic incident will now be commenced soon.
Moreover, the court has also declared seven accused as absconders including Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and issued their arrest warrants.
