He made the statement in an interview with Radio Pakistan.
He said that the upcoming China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Summit and Expo, which will be held in Islamabad on Monday, is being organized to lay the groundwork for the next round of CPEC.
“Both Pakistani and Chinese businessmen will be able to explore areas for joint investment,” Iqbal said.
He went on to say that industrial zones will also be made in the country.
The minister stated that CPEC is based on creation of business to business links and economic cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
