World Cup fever also grips politicians

Cricket fever does not seem to spare anyone as leading politicians on Saturday wished their very best to the Pakistan-11.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who has himself been a former first-class cricketer, wished luck to the Pakistan cricket team, while Shahbaz Sharif said that the entire nation is praying for Pakistan’s victory against India in the fourth ODI of the Cricket World Cup 2015.

The emir of Jamaat e Islami (JI), Siraj ul Haq expressed his hopes that all the Pakistani players including Shahid Afridi, Misbah ul Haq and Younis Khan will play at their best against the arch-rival India on Sunday.

PTI chairman, Imran Khan himself has been a world-class cricketer, his passion will surely be at its peak during the Pak-India match tomorrow.

Moreover, Awami Muslim League (AML) chief, Sheikh Rasheed also expressed his heartiest wishes for Pakistan’s win against India.
