Cricket match stopped as stadium turned into helipad for CM Sindh

Hyderabad’s Niaz Stadium was made the helipad for Mr. Shah, who arrived two hours beyond his scheduled time.

The match between Quetta and Hyderabad regions was underway when security officials entered the stadium and asked the ground administration to immediately halt the play.

Upon receiving instructions from the management, umpire Ali Moosa removed the stumps and players left the field.

For two hours, the chief minister didn’t arrive. After his arrival the match remain suspended as scores of security personnel were deployed in the ground for security reasons.
