Most cricketers fail fitness exam during boot camp

ABBOTTABAD: Only two cricketers managed to pass a fitness exam during the ongoing boot camp at the Pakistan Military Academy, ARY News reported.

The players were undergoing military training where they had to complete one kilometer run within six minutes. The trainers gave the players a run of their lives as they were made sweat at the scenic location.

However, most players failed to pass the test after which they are being given training in two sessions. The reason for the failure is said to be that most players are overweight.

The training starts immediately after sunrise which involves sprinting and other fitness exercises. Even Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq and experienced cricketer Younis Khan have failed to impress during these fitness tests.
