Cross-border call threatens to bomb Governor House in Karachi

KARACHI: The Governor House, Karachi, on Friday received a threat call from India, in which an unknown man threatened to bomb the governor’s residence, ARY News reported.

According to details, the call was made from New Delhi on Friday morning, of which the Governor House staff immediately apprised the security agencies.

During the cross-border call, an anonymous man threatened with destructing the governor Sindh’s residence in Karachi by planting explosives.

Security agencies have kicked off investigations into the matter, while security arrangements have also been beefed up around the Governor House.
