CTD arrests terrorist from Dera Ismail Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a terrorist involved in attacks on security forces, from Dera Ismail Khan, ARY News reported on Friday.
Sources said that law enforcement personnel conducted raid in Pahar Pura area of D.I. Khan and nabbed a terror suspect Saeed Rafiq.
According to CTD officials the arrested terrorist has been involved in scores of cases of terrorism including attacks on security forces personnel.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government had announced a head money of Rs. 1 million for the arrest of the hardened terrorist.
Police also said that weapons and banned literature were recovered from the arrested terrorist.
He was shifted to an unknown location for investigation.
In August, Intelligence Bureau (IB) official Usman Gul was shot dead by unknown persons in Peshawar.
It should be noted that three persons were shot dead when unknown terrorists opened fire at a vehicle at Peshawar’s Charsadda Road in September.
