CTD arrests three female terror suspects in Sargodha

SARGODHA: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of police in a raid in Sargodha arrested three women suspects involved in terrorism, ARY News reported on Monday.

The CTD personnel on a tip-off conducted raid at a place near Bypass Seem Nullah resulting in shootout with accused, a spokesman of police said. “Two accused escaped from the scene while three women Asma Jabeen, Khola Mukhtar and Abeera were arrested with arms and ammunition.”

Arrested women have been residents of Khoshab. Police found two suicide jackets, three hand grenades and other explosives in their possession.

The two feeing accused were Mukhtar Ahmed and Umar Mukhtar, police further said.

The accused have been members of same family and sensational disclosures are expected during investigation, police sources said.
