CTD arrests two suspected hitmen, a facilitator from Karachi

KARACHI: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Monday arrested two suspected target killers and a facilitator following raids in different areas, ARY News reported.

The CTD personnel conducting a raid upon credible intelligence apprehended two ‘hitmen’ affiliated with political party, told the SSP Junaid Sheikh.

He said the suspect, Kamran, is involved in the killing of 12 people and has acquired training from India.

Another suspect identified as Khawar was said to be involved in killing five persons. Khawar was also allegedly involved in providing refuge to other hitmen, conducting recce for them and arson.

In another raid, police nabbed a hitman named Yameen who allegedly killed 35 people including police personnel.

The law enforcers seized three handguns, a Kalashnikov and a rifle from arrested suspects.
