Petrol crisis a conspiracy against govt, says Dar
Speaking at a press conference regarding petrol shortage in Islamabad today, Ishaq Dar said the Ministry of Finance has nothing to do with the petrol crisis.
“Finance Ministry is not defaulter to anyone”, said Ishaq Dar.
Denying reports that Finance Ministry is responsible for the crisis, the Minister said oil companies including Pakistan State Oil (PSO) are responsible for the crisis as they failed to maintain the minimum stock of fuel.
Dar clarified that Finance Ministry doesn’t owe anything to the PSO, adding they have already extended support to PSO to overcome the petrol shortage.
