Dattakhel airstrike leaves 23 terrorists dead

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), fighter jets pounded suspected militants hideouts in Dattakhel area due to which 23 suspects, including foreign terrorists, were killed.

It should be noted that 53 militants were slain in the airstrike on Tuesday in which scores of militant hideouts, ammunition depots, explosives and seven vehicles were said to be destroyed.

Death toll of the militants killed in the two airstrikes has risen to 76.

It should be mentioned that armed forces of the country have stepped up their operations against terrorists after the attack on Peshawar’s Army Public School in which 150 people including 135 children and nine staff members were killed.

More than 1200 terrorists have been killed since Pakistan Army has launched Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber-I military offensives in North Waziristan and Khyber Agency tribal regions respectively.
