Days gone when elected PM forced to quit, says Aitzaz

Aitzaz Ahsan, talking to media outside Lahore High Court (LHC), said that that mid-term elections will not take place in the country.

The people’s party senator said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will have to withdraw his demand of prime minister’s resignation.

Ahsan, commenting on the gathering of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) at Lahore’s Minar-e-Pakistan, said that PAT Chairman Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri should “open his eyes”. He added that there were millions in the gathering but had no enthusiasm.

He said that MQM is a “good guest” which joins and seperates itself from the provincial government whenever they please.

The senator called Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) a “tent party” who does not have its own workers.
