According to an Indian news channel, Jitender Singh Tomar has been accused of possesing a fake law degree.
It was stated that Jitender Singh Tomar of Aam Aadmi Party was nabbed from his residence and was shifted to Huaz Khan Police Station for investigation. He was taken into custody following the filing of a criminal complaint by Bar Council of India.
Tomar has been charged for cheating. He has claimed that he was arrested without any notice and termed his arrest as “political harassment”.
AAP leaders have criticized the Narendra Modi’s government for his arrest and stated that the ruling party is trying to make the government weak in the capital.
Police Commissioner of Delhi has stated that he has no details of Tomar’s arrest.
