Despite sacrifices, Washington continues to accuse Pakistan

WASHINGTON/ISLAMABAD: Despite countless sacrifices by Pakistan in the War on Terror, Washington has once again leveled some serious allegations on it, that too at a time when the echoes of the Wagah suicide attack had not faded away, ARY News reported.

According to details, the United States (US) Defense Department in its report alleged Pakistan of using extremist organizations against India and Afghanistan. The report claimed that Pakistan is doing so as a strategy towards superior Indian defense.

The report which was presented to the US Congress further read that the Taliban members hiding in the border areas of Pakistan are still waging attacks inside Afghanistan, citing the attack on Indian Consulate in Harat, Afghanistan, while the oath-taking ceremony of Narendra Modi was underway.

India had alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba of orchestrating the Harat attack on its consulate.

The allegations are nothing new as the US had framed such accusations on Pakistan, some six months ago and earlier to that as well, which were solely aimed at mounting pressure on Pakistan.

However, the point of concern is that when will our rulers review the foreign policy of Pakistan, as it is rendering sacrifices one after another, yet the US demand of ‘do more’ does not seem to come to an end.
