Raza Rabbani, speaking in a seminar in Peshawar, said that state institutions were forced to clash against each other during dictatorial regimes. He added that all political parties have played a role in giving constitution its true form.

He also advised the parties to forget differences with each other in order to strengthen the country. He added that democracy is the only way to strengthen Pakistan.

The Chairman of Pakistan’s upper house, speaking to media in Sargodha, said that the silence of the West over opression on minorities in India is disappointing.
