The ongoing drive against corruption in Sindh has been continued as the Anti Corruption Department arrested director buildings Liaquatabad Umar Adil and confiscated relevant record in a raid in SBCA today.
The director buildings has been arrested for his role in encroachment of the government lands in Liaquatabad.
According to sources, the director and other government officers have been allegedly involved in land grabbing adding that more arrests are expected after scrutiny of the land record.
District Accounts Officer Jamshoro arrested
A team of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from Karachi conducted a raid in Jamshoro treasury office and arrested district accounts officer Ghulam Mustafa. The team also confiscated the office record.
The district accounts officer has been involved in corrupt practices with fake documents in Dadu and Jamshoro districts, NAB sources said.
