Do not bring Allah's good name in Thar drought: Jabbar

KARACHI: Renowned intellectual and former information minister Javed Jabbar said on Thursday that Sindh’s Tharparkar region is historically vulnerable to drought, ARY News reported.

Expressing his views in ARY News program ‘Siyasat Aur Saazish’ , Jabbar said that Tharpakar is politically ignored and in most areas dominated by minority Hindu community.

In 2008, Australia faced a drought situation while 2012 West America had to go through the same due to the global climate change despite building dams but maintained that he has not taken nor can take Allah’s good name in it as human made system too is responsible.

The former information minister refused to comment on PPP-MQM tussle on the issue.

Palijo takes on PPP

Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) President Ayaz Latif Palijo asked as to why Sindh’s ruling party PPP cannot deliver despite their 18 year long rule.
