Dr Asim returns to Rangers detention after discharged from NICVD
The former federal minister of petroleum had been admitted at the National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases (NICVD) in Karachi for the past week after he complained cardiac pain.
The Rangers taken back Dr Asim Hussain in their custody after he was discharged from the NICVD.
A medical board yesterday declared that Dr Asim was not suffering from any heart-related ailment and that he could be discharged from the hospital.
Dr Asim Hussain was arrested under the charges of corruption, abuse of power and facilitating terrorists.
An anti-terrorism court had awarded 90 days’ physical remand of the former PPP minister to the Rangers.
