Workers of the JUI-F staged one such sit-in in Larkana at roads leading to Garhi Khuda Baksh blocking them for hours.

They demanded the provincial authorities to forward Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro murder case to military court.

Protest forced Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani to return, who was to reach Garhi Khuda Baksh to attend a ceremony with regard to the death anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

Commissioner and DIG Larkana hold talks with sons of slain JUI-F leader and assured them that the case will be forwarded to special court within ten days.

At which, the JUI-F leaders and workers ended the sit-ins.

On November 29, 2014, Dr Khalid Soomro was shot dead in Sukkur while he was leaving a mosque after offering Fajr (early morning) prayers.
