The death toll in the drought-stricken desert region has now reached 93 in last 46 days.
Sources informed that the infants were under-treatment at Civil Hospital, Mithi. Three each of the six victims belonged to Tehsil Chachro and Tehsil Dhali. The provincial government of Sindh is likely to hold another meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali in the chair to discuss Thar crisis and adopt measures to contain such deaths.
The CM had arrived in Mithi a week ago with his ministers to discuss the drought crisis.
However, despite meetings of the provincial government high-ups, the deaths and hard-scrabble living conditions in Tharparkar and its villages could not be controlled as yet.
