Dubai Test: Azhar, Younis steady Pakistan

The green shirts started the 2nd session of the day at 50/2.

Azhar Ali and Younis Khan both scored half centuries to save the Pakistani side from an early collapse on the first day.

Azhar Ali reached his fifty from 141 balls comprising of six boundaries. He was dismissed after Alex Doolan caught him off the bowling of Mitchell Johnson.

Younis Khan made a half century in 136 balls which included six fours as well.

Earlier, Australian pacers Johnson and Peter Siddle provided early breakthroughs to the visitors in the first session as they dismissed Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad in the first four overs of the day .

Pakistan is currently batting at 125/3 with Younis Khan and captain Misbah-ul-Haq on strike with score of 52 and eight runs respectively.
