Durrani demands ban on CNG cylinders

KARACHI: Speaker of Sindh Assembly (SA) Agha Siraj Durrani has demanded a ban on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) cylinders in vehicles, ARY News reports.

Durrani, in a session of Sindh Assembly, said that a ban should be enforced on CNG cylinders.

The members of the house expressed grief over the loss of human lives in Nooriabad accident.

At 10 people were killed when a passenger van caught fire after an accident in Nooriabad, an area of Sindh.

SA members demanded action against the vehicles with low-standard CNG cylinders while precautionary measures should be taken on vehicles running on the gas.

Meanwhile, the parliamentarians also demanded that the supply of Hepatitis vaccines should be ensured.
