Top IB official among nine killed in Larkana clash

LARKANA: A bloody clash between two clans in Larkana on Thursday claimed at least nine lives including a deputy director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), ARY News reported.

According to details, a clash took place between Bhok and Mugheri clans in Pakhu area of Qambar Shahdad Kot, district Larkana. Both sides freely exchanged gunfire due to which nine people were killed and several wounded from both the clans.

The deceased also included Deputy Director IB Islamabad, Mukhtiar Ali Bhok.

The injured and the dead bodies were shifted to a hospital.

Following the clash, armed men of the Mugheri clan also gunned down a man in Khairpur Joso, after disembarking him from a wagon.

The clash was part of the longstanding enmity between the two clans over a disputed plot.
