Ebay, Paypal, Amazon to launch service in Pakistan?

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for IT Anusha Rehman has said that arrangements were afoot to invite three global tech companies– Ebay, Paypal and Amazon – to start its operations in the country.

According to a local website ProPakistani, the minister made the announcement while addressing the conference organized by GSMA in Islamabad.

Ms Rehman said all the necessary arrangements had been made for introduction of the tech companies in Pakistan.

The minister informed that Pakistan was now a part of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) which signified the the country has accept international standards against money laundering and counter terrorism.

She informed that efforts were underway for launch of e-commerce in the country.
