The approved projects include Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme K-IV (Phase I) and construction of marine related infrastructure for 6,600 MW Pakistan Power Park project at Gaddani, Balochistan.
ECNEC meeting chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was held in Islamabad on Friday.
During the meeting, Finance Minister informed that under Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme K-IV (Phase I) 260 million gallons of water daily will be supplied from the east bank of Keenjhar Lake in District Thatta to Karachi.
The total cost of Rs.25.5 billion, the cost will be shared 50 per cent each by the Federal Government and the Government of Sindh as directed by the Prime Minister, said Ishaq Dar.
The other approved project Park project at Gaddani will cost a total of Rs. 146.60 billion and will be completed in 42 months.
