ECP asks Mustafa Kamal to declare party assets

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has received application for registeration of Mustafa Kamal’s Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), but termed it incomplete for want of necessary documents and information, ARY News reported.

According to sources in the ECP, Kamal submitted the party enlistment application without attaching along its constitution, assets and details of party leaders.

The ECP asked Kamal to re-submit application fulfilling requirements under the Party Registration Act. The ex-MQM leader Kamal has also been sent letter by the ECP in this regard.

In the application, Mustafa Kamal is mentioned as PSP chairman, while ‘funds’ have been mentioned as party’s sole income source.
