The FO Spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam said that we are focused at rescuing Pakistanis from Aden and Al Mukalla, yet there are difficulties in evacuating citizens due to continuing fighting in Aden.
She told that Pakistan has sought China’s assistance in this regard, while the option of a sea route is also there for bringing these Pakistanis back home.
Ms Aslam said that two ships of the Pakistan Navy will also be reaching Yemen in a few days.
She added that a PIA flight is also on stand-by to fly to Al Mukalla and all means will be utilized to ensure a safe return of the citizens from Yemen.
