Efforts for talks directed to save country from martial law: Siraj

MALAKAND: The emir of Jamat e Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq on Saturday said that the country is through a difficult phase and the purpose of striving for talks between government and defiant parties is to save the country from another martial law, ARY News reported.

Talking to media here on Saturday, Sirajul Haq said “We are struggling to transform Pakistan into a true Islamic welfare state and the JI will free the people of all the Waderas and Chaudhries”.

He said that the United States (US) is trying to take control of resources of the Muslim Ummah.

Moreover, the JI emir said that the huge public meeting to be held on November 21 at Minar e Pakistan will bring an Islamic revolution in the country.
