Thousands of processions and rallies will be taken out across the country by social and religious groups while Mehfil-e-Milad and other gatherings will be held in which the life and the teachings of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) will be highlighted.
ARY Digital organized a Mehfil-e-Naat which was hosted by Sahibzada Tasleem Ahmadi whereas ARY QTV and Minhaj-ul-Quran Institute organized a Milad Conference at Minar-e-Pakistan.
A 21-gun salute was given by the Pakistan Army in many cities of the country on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W).
Mosques and residential buildings at nearly every street of the country has been decorated with colorful lightings. A 5,000 pound and 6,300 pound cake has been prepared in Multan and Chiniot respectively .
Strict security measures have been taken to curb any untoward incident throughout the day. The procession routes have been sealed with containers while police officers would also perform security duties across the country.
