PTI has invited attention of the election commission about an advertisement campaign launched by the ruling PML-N government.

A letter written to the election commission by the party said that the PML-N advertisement campaign two days before the polling was a breach of the code of conduct and urged the election body to take immediate notice of the issue and stop the alleged violation.

The electoral drive is going to end today as the passions have reached to the hysterical level before the end of the campaign. The parties workers as well as leaders are constantly in mass contact campaign to win over the voters.

The electoral campaign for by-election in Lahore’s NA-122 between PML-N’s former national Assembly speaker Ayaz Sadiq and PTI’s Aleem Khan has overshadowed the Okara by-election. The two sides have been engaged in exchange of serious allegations during this campaign and accusing each other of corruption and other malpractices.
