ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has said that its enemies are using Afghan soil to carry out attacks in the country.

Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria, in a weekly briefing, said that Pakistan and Afghanistan both have been victims of terrorism and the enemies are using Afghan soil to carry out terror attacks in the country.

The FO representative stated, “The tendency of blame game should be avoided.”

He called for effective management of the Pak-Afghan border to deal with the crisis.

The spokesman stated that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given special instructions to deal with terrorists.

Zakaria stated that the federal government will makes its decision regarding opening of Pak-Afghan border will in due course of time.

The FO spokesman said that Kashmiris continue to suffer the human rights abuse at the hands of Indian forces in occupied Kashmir. He went on to say that the youth and children in the territory are being targeted with pellet guns.

Zakaria stated that Indian forces have killed 22 innocent Kashmiris in the first two months of 2017, which was condemnable.

He went on to say that Pakistani nation backs the Kashmiris’ struggle for their right of self-determination and the Pakistani government will continue to extend its moral, political, and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir.
