‘Even 30,000 policemen will not be able to stop me from reaching Islamabad’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, has challenged that even 30,000 policeman would not be able to stop him from reaching Islamabad on 2nd November.

Imran Khan came out to address the media after consultation at Bani Gala, came out along with several other leaders including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Imran Ismail and Aleem Khan.

He thanked the workers of the party who have been arrested and harassed by the Police. He said that the Punjab Police is complacent in crimes and will be held accountable along with the Sharif brothers.

He lashed out at the government and questioned what law he had broken despite the order of the Islamabad High Court that no barriers should be placed anywhere. “This is also the trial of the judiciary,” he said.

He said that the government has locked the entire city with barriers and containers, just to hide their corruption. He was adamant that they will not back out now until their demands are not met.

Salman Ahmed, famous singer of Junoon, was arrested outside Bani Gala as he arrived to meet Imran Khan. However, he managed to escape as the door of the Police van was not locked properly.
