Explosives-laden bike, heavy arms recovered from Chaman, D.I. Khan

CHAMAN/D.I. KHAN: Security agencies on Monday foiled a terror bid in Chaman by recovering an explosives-laden motorcycle near the Pak-Afghan border, ARY News reported.

Officials of the security agencies together with intelligence personnel recovered the motorcycle laden with seven kg explosive material, hence saving Chaman from a terrorist attack.

Meanwhile, Frontier Corps (FC) seized a huge cache of arms in Dera Ismail Khan and apprehended two suspects.

Recovered arms included a rocket-launcher, 31 rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), 2 Kalashnikovs, five magazines, seven rifles, three hand grenades and more than 5000 live rounds of different kinds.

The arms were seized from a camp of nomads, while the personnel also arrested two suspects from there.
