Fair inquiry will lead to PM Nawaz’s conviction in election fraud: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan while addressing his party men in Islamabad said that a proper inquiry in election rigging will lead to conviction of Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, Iftikhar Chaudhry and Najam Sethi, ARY News reported.

Calling labourers and traders to join the protest, PTI chief claimed that his proposed ‘Naya Pakistan’ (New Pakistan) will have no place for corrupt practices that hinder the progress for both labourers and traders.

Imran Khan said that Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch was elected through rigging and bogus votes. He said that 600 votes of the opposing candidate to Dr Abdul Malik Baloch disappeared, and that the returning officer was changed in the poll to ensure Baloch won the election.

PTI chief read out from a paper in his hand, the details of Sharif family’s assets abroad while announcing that a BBC Documentary on Mian Nawaz Sharif’s corruption will be shown to the protestors.

Mocking the parties in assembly, he congratulated the protestors that it is because of their resolve that the foul play in National Assembly is exposed and all the corrupt politicians are standing united.

The cricketer-turned-politician claimed that it will be him and the people of Pakistan who will bring these corrupt people to justice as they all are corrupt and unable to try each other.

PTI chief claimed that the present rulers adopted a cheap practice and offered him a post of  Deputy Prime Minister, a price too low for his honesty and persona.
