According to details, a police team nabbed notorious target killer Naveed alias Ali and Bhola Gujjar from Karachi. Both the criminals belong to a criminal group headed by former sub-inspector Farrukh Waheed.
In an emergency press conference, CPO Faisalabad Doctor Sohail Habib Tajik presented Naveed before media to tell the journalists that the criminal is involved in murder, robbery, kidnapping for ransom and other criminal activities.
The cop told media that the gang is led by former sub-inspector Farrukh Waheed who fled the country to hide somewhere in Canada while three of the other members of gang are under police custody.
“Former CNG association chairman Anjum Niaz, Constable Tahir and Tariq alias Bhangi are also under our custody”, said Tajik.
The officer further stated that raids are being conducted to arrest Faisal alias Jappa, Jahangir alias Jugnu, Nafees alias Goga, Mian Ayaz, Farhan, Constable Najeebullah and Asif alias Noni.
CPO on this occasion also announced a 0.5 million rupees award for the police party.
