Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) worker Haq Nawaz was killed in firing during clashes in Faisalabad between the workers of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and PTI on Monday.
Imran Khan led PTI had announced a shutdown in Faisalabad in its campaign against alleged rigging in 2013 general elections in Pakistan.
A large number of mourners attended the funeral of the young PTI worker with tearful eyes.
PTI has given the call for countrywide mourning over the death of the party activist.
The FIR of the killing has been registered against 300 accused including PML-N leaders from Faisalabad Rana Sanaullah, Abid Sher Ali and others.
