Fawad Khan is one of Pakistan’s most popular actors, who have received undeniable love and affection. However, he is of the very few and rare exports who have made a name for themselves not only in Pakistan but in India as well. After his well-received movie Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor, Fawad is all set to star in Kapoor and Sons opposite Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. The actor spoke at the trailer launch of his upcoming movie about his experiences in India and could not stop praising the country’s hospitality towards him.

“Whenever I have come here, I have experienced tremendous love and hospitality in India and all Indians people have given me a lovely and warm welcome. Last time too and even this year,” he said. Fawad also said he missed his family, but actors Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra nicely made up for it.

“It feels like family here in India and where ever I have gone in this country it has always been an amazing experience. I do miss my family. But these guys (Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt) make up for it,” he said.

Fawad was also asked about his reaction when at times, India and Pakistan’s relations deteriorated.

“I am a politically illiterate person and I don’t keep up with current affairs. So for me to get involved in these matters doesn’t seem right,” he said.

Kapoor and Sons releases on March 18, 2016. It’s a good thing Fawad is making friends in neighbouring India!
