After a fire cracking entry in bollywood Fawad Khan is receiving many offers and according to the latest buzz, the actor has received another offer to play Sonakshi Sinha’s husband. Bombay Talkies producer Ashu Dua is making a biopic on the life of famous Indian poet Amrita Pritam. The film is about a love triangle of Sahir Ludhianvi-Amrita Pritam- Imroz. Fawad Khan has been approached by the producer to play Imroz in the film.
Priyanka Chopra was the first choice for the lead role of Amrita Pritam but due to her unavailability of dates Sonakshi Sinha has taken the role lead role. Sahir Ludhianwi’s chracter has not been finalized yet.
Amrita Pritam is a famous poet of 1940’s, who was fondly in love with poet Sahir Ludhianvi according to her own autobiography. But Sahir did not pay much attention towards her affection and Amrita later fell in a relationship with renowned artist and writer Imroz.
This sweet-senti love story is anticipated to win million hearts.
