Fazl calls countrywide protest against JUI-F leader's murder

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Saturday Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam chief said that the state has failed to provide protection to the party workers. JUI-F leader said that the murderers are fearlessly operating in the country while the cases being dragged in the name of investigation.

He called the party workers to block the highways throughout the country in the protest tomorrow so as the state feels that it has become powerless.

” We are always urged not to take the law in hands, we are not taking law in our hands but the rulers tell us whether any law exists in the country,” he said.

Fazlur Rehman said that he has summoned the party’s emergency central working committee meeting in Sukkur to announce the future line of action.

“The killers of our people should be arrested and brought to justice,” he demanded.

Unidentified gunmen killed Dr. Soomro, Secretary General of JUI-F Sindh chapter, early morning today in Sukkur when he was returning after leading morning prayers in a mosque in SITE area.
