Talking to media after a meeting of the religious parties here today, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) chief said that the terrorists have been offered a safe passage with the 21st Amendment.

Fazlur Rehman termed the amendment a discriminatory law. He said the politicians have made a suicide attack on the democratic system in the country.

JUI-F chief said that the matter could go to the D-Chowk in case of the government’s rigid attitude over the religious parties reservations adding,”We don’t want to disturb the national unity”.

A meeting was attended by JUI-F, Jamaat Islami and other religious right parties including the federation of religious seminaries to discuss the implications of the 21st Constitutional Amendment.
