According to spokesperson FC, the activity was conducted at Chaman’s Shuhdan Bogha area. Weapons in large quantity were seized from the arrested Afghan intelligence agent, which included one kilogram of explosive material, four SMGs, one sniper rifle, three mobile phone sets, eleven antennas, twenty-five small and ten large ball bearings, seventy-five detonator fuses and other items as well.
Based on the disclosures made by the suspect, another compound was raided by FC from where ten kilograms ready explosives, twelve kilograms of raw explosives and other items needed to make a bomb, were confiscated. According to FC authorities, the confiscated weapons and explosives were to be used in terrorism-related activities in Balochistan.
The previous month, Pakistani intelligence agencies had also apprehended Kalbhushan Yadav, a suspected RAW agent who is also a serving Indian naval officer. In a live press conference, DG ISPR Asim Bajwa played a confessional video clip of Yadav in which he admitted being a RAW agent and being involved in subversive activities in Balochistan province. India rubbished the claims and stated that the video was a ‘tutored’ one.
