A spokesman of Frontier Corps said that the slain militants were members of a banned outfit and they were involved in attacks on security forces.
He said huge cache of weapons was also recovered from the hideout of the dead militants. In the operation four hideouts of the were destroyed, while seven alleged facilitators were arrested.
Earlier, unidentified gunmen shot dead two people at Saryab Road of Quetta on Monday when they were travelling in a rickshaw.
According to police, dead bodies of both the deceased were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta.
