Federation of country seems to collapse today, says Musharraf

MULTAN/KARACHI: Former president and chief of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), Pervez Musharraf has said that the federation of the country seems to collapse today, as the provinces are shattered and heading in their own direction, ARY News reported.

Addressing the general workers convention in Multan via video link, General (R) Pervez Musharraf said that there seems no system in the country, adding that the ones staging sit-ins are asking for ‘change’ and if it isn’t provided then the future of the country would be bleak.

He said that worst rigging of the history of Pakistan took place during the General Elections 2013, which the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) also confessed.

He lamented that today the federation of the country seems to collapse as every province is heading in its own direction.
