FIA officials suspended after woman travelled to Dubai on son’s passport

ISLAMABAD: Interior Ministry on Sunday suspended Federal Investigation Authority officials after taking notice of a woman travelling to Dubai on her son’s passport, ARY News report.

The officials of the investigation agency have been suspended on the instructions of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

The interior minister said that no one should be allowed to travel without proper investigation.

Dubai officials imposed 5000 dirham fine on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) over sending a woman identified as Afshan Siddiqui to the country on her son’s passport.

He added that FIA should ensure that no one travels to any destination even if Pakistan International Airlines shows any kind of negligence.
