Imran to lodge FIR against Faisalabad assault

TOP NEWS

“I am going to Faisalabad where I will file an FIR against them (referring to rulers)”, said the PTI Chairman while speaking to media before leaving for Faisalabad.

Imran said that no one should have second thoughts on PTI being a democratic power. He added that if Pakistan is a democratic country then peaceful protests are the rights in the state.

“It is the duty of the governments to ensure protection to the peaceful protests in a democratic country”, he said.

He claimed that the Gullu Butts of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) had no right to attack the party’s activists in Faisalabad.

“A man was opening fire at the PTI activists and the law enforcing agencies were posing as silent spectator in the incident”, he said.

Imran Khan further claimed that former law minister of Punjab Rana Sanaullah had said that “he will deal with all of them”.

The PTI Chairman further added that it is an old habit of PML-N to resort to violent ways. He added that the government attacked Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) activists in Model Town area of Lahore and his party supporters were attacked in Jhelum, Gujranwala and other cities.

“They are a product of military dictators. “Where were they when former President General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf was in power”, he asked.

He also said that the Plan C was introduced to pressurize the federal government to probe the alleged rigging in the 2013 elections. He urged for acceptance of their legal demands.

PTI Chairman said that if the rulers think of PTI supporters as “Burger and Singing activists” then they should think twice before confronting with the PTI crowd in Lahore.
