The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had issued the schedule for the local bodies elections in 79 union councils (UCs) of the capital city on Tuesday.
The nomination papers for the local bodies elections, scheduled to be held on July 25, could be submitted till tomorrow (Friday).
According to the schedule, the objections to filed nominations could be submitted on June 28. The scrutiny of the nominations will be held on June 28 and 29.
The final list of the candidates will be released on July 05.
As per details, voting on the seats of chairman, vice chairman, six general seats, two women candidates, farmer, youth and minority has been scheduled in first phase.
