Five killed due to an armed clash in Karachi

KARACHI: At least five people were killed in an armed clash between two groups in Karachi’s Bhains Colony area on Saturday, ARY News reported.

According to details, an armed clash took place between two groups under the jurisdiction of Sakhan police station.

As a consequence, five people including a cattle trader, a veterinary doctor Abbas Ali and his security guard were killed.

Police said the feud originated over the possession of a patch of land and that ten suspects involved in the clash have been taken into custody.

Rescue teams soon after the incident reached the spot and shifted the injured and dead bodies to Jinnah Hospital.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Sohail Anwar Sial has taken notice of the incident and ordered a fair probe into the matter.
